This long open snake chain is heavy and strong, with a dark, oxidised silver finish and S clasp. Beautiful with a pendant or on its own.

I stress that these chains are not solid silver, and are not the sort of stock we normally carry at Kashgar. They arrived as an incorrect order, and it is easier for us to sell them than return them to India. They appear to be plated and the plating will rub off to reveal the base metal underneath, which may be copper or silver coloured in its own right. At this stage with full plating, the chains are nickel free and will not cause skin irritation or rash, although again I cannot comment on the properties of the base metal.

These chains can also be replated by using a rub-on silver paste.
